War on Warts

Warts are stubborn and may take a little time and consistent effort to remedy. But there are natural ways to combat them.

It’s important to break through the hardened skin shell to improve your chances of elimination. After personal experiences and learning from other resources my recommendation is as follows:

  • file the wart with a nail file
  • cover with duct tape over night
  • pull off duct tape in the morning
  •  Option 1- use a toothpick to dip into OREGANO Essential oil and dab a drop directly on the wart.
  • Option 2- make a 2oz glass sprayer with 5 drops Cypress, 10 drops lemon and 2TBS Apple cider vinegar. Apply on wart area 2 times daily and cover with cotton bandage.
  • Repeat either application 2-4 times a day.
  • Repeat steps 1-3 each evening , try this for a couple weeks at least or until remedied.

Other possible oils to try: Frankincense, Melaleuca, On Guard layered with Oregano

Warning : Do NOT touch your face or sensitive skin with the oregano.   If the Oregano does cause irritation, dilute with a carrier oil such as olive oil, Fractionated Coconut oil or the like. Do not wash off with water. If you do need to cover the wart area, ( i.e….for a child) use cotton gauze or something like this. Essential oils break down petro chemicals that plastics and adhesives are made from.
